Measurement Display Settings

Measurement Mode Voltage – Display RMS voltage (ACDC) or peak voltage (PK).
Current – Display RMS current (ACDC) or peak current (PK).
– Clear peak voltage or current measurement.
Number of Average Points Specify the averaged points for voltage and current. Averaging is not performed when average points is set to 1.
This setting does not apply to peak current measurement.
Peak Hold Time Set the peak hold time for voltage and current (0 to 10 s). If a value greater than 10 is entered, the peak hold time will be changed to indefinite.
Sensing Enable (On) or disable (Off) access to sense selections. Note that Soft sense type is available only when you have turned on the Over Current Protection (OCP).
Set the sense type:
Hard – Measure the output voltage compensation point directly across the load. It can compensate the voltage up to approximately 1.5 V for a single load line. Due to the compensation is performed in real time, the output voltage can be stabilized at a high speed. However, the output may become unstable and oscillate depending on the wiring and the load type. If the output becomes unstable, use Soft sensing.
Soft – This is the recommended setting if you are using a load that does not require a fast output voltage response speed. Soft sensing can compensate the voltage up to ±10 % of the product’s set voltage. If Soft sense type is selected, also specify the compensation Sensing Point (Sense Terminal or Output Terminal) and Voltage Control (AC or DC).
